PMC College Rankings
We have done our PMC rankings since 2022, and have ranked the top NAIA women’s college flag football teams week by week every year since. Our rankings from 2022-2025 have been done by members of the Playmaker’s Corner, but starting in 2026 we will begin ranking teams from the NAIA, NCAA, and JUCO levels. In addition, starting in 2026 our rankings will include the opinions of former women’s college flag football players and members of the Women’s and Girl’s flag football community.
2026 PMC Rankings
This year marks the first year we will be cutting off the rankings at 25 teams. We will also be ranking junior college, as well as NCAA teams alongside the NAIA teams that we have always ranked. On top of that we will include voters who are not member’s of the Playmaker’s Corner to help decide our rankings. This group will include former women’s college flag football players, media members, and other prominent figures in the flag football world.
2025 PMC Rankings
In 2025 Ottawa became the first team ever to remain at #1 in our rankings throughout the entire year from preseason to Week 10. Among other firsts, Baker becomes the first KCAC team outside of Ottawa and Kansas Wesleyan to claim a top 5 spot. This year also saw the biggest jump a team has made in the rankings as Graceland went from #22 in the country to #12 by season’s end. This year also marked the 3rd straight year that the number of women’s college flag football teams in our rankings grew.
The Sun Conference once again had the most teams in the top 10 with 6 different teams in Thomas, Life, Keiser, Webber, Warner, and Saint Thomas all making the top 10 at one point. Meanwhile the KCAC had 5 different teams in the top 10 including Ottawa, Kansas Wesleyan, Midland, Baker, and William Woods. William Woods becomes the 6th first year program alongside Thomas, Milligan, Reinhardt, Baker and Southwestern to be ranked inside the top 10.
2024 PMC Rankings
This year Keiser became the first team that’s not Ottawa or Thomas to be ranked #1 in our rankings. We also saw an expansion to 20 teams who we ranked. We saw three new teams in Southwestern, Milligan, and Baker all make the top 10 for the first time ever.
2023 PMC Rankings
We expand to raking 15 teams this year, and also apply a new system to our rankings using points. The rankings are now not consensus all the time, and this is the first year we got ties in our rankings. The Sun Conference saw 7 teams make the top 10 in Keiser, Saint Thomas, Thomas, Florida Memorial, Webber, Reinhardt and Warner. The KCAC saw Ottawa, Kansas Wesleyan, Saint Mary, Cottey and Midland all making the top 10 at some point. This is also the first year we had multiple independents ranked.
